We are here. Tired of being the tokens in these high end day spas, but we are here. Go through too much working in the hood. Everybody expect a discount, like we are not at work. What if your job tell you, that they won't pay you your full amount? All because they expect you to work for a discount.

These salons out here are nasty. I have worked at them all. From the burbs to the chop shops in every shopping center. Nobody cares about sanitizing nothing. Foot files/scrapers, etc... rinsed off in water only. Foot spa jets are removed, taken off and dipped in solution but never actually cleaned. So each person is getting recycled foot crud floating in the water. The foot spas are not cleaned thoroughly at all. Plastic wraps are just replaced. Absolutely no hand washing. Think twice and ask questions before flopping down in one of those spa chairs thinking your entering something good. Money is their motivator, not your well - being.

 Mobile NAIL SPA services are professionals. Sanitation is taken seriously. We wash our hands, use gloves, and/or hand sanitizer to protect and cleanse ourselves. State board approved sanitizers and disinfectants used. Each client gets a new nail file, buffer, foot file, etc... We do not service individuals with any type of fungus on the nail or foot. We do not service any suspicious contagious skin rashes. HEALTH is WEATH. Everything will be done to ensure health safety while benefiting from luxury services.

So what are we supposed to do about the national birth crisis among Black women?

Black women and infants are 3 to 4 times more likely to die during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. Those numbers vary in different areas of the country. I have seen anywhere from 12x's to 36x's and the reason vary as to why. Last year I attend an Infant Mortality Awareness Summit in Dallas, TX and to my surprise, the real reasons as to why there is a crisis was not even mentioned. I listened to the medical examiners speak mostly about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome being the number one cause. There was no mention of vaccinations or medical racism, which in my opinion would be the cause right along with stress. There was also a lot of discussion about preventing teenage pregnancies and other things that were not very solution-based.
